PoolGenius Survivor Bowl Contest

Terms And Conditions For Participants

Effective Date: August 11, 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the PoolGenius Survivor Bowl Contest (“Contest”) hosted by Team Rankings, LLC (“Sponsor”). By participating in the Contest, you agree to these Terms without exception, and to abide by all other decisions regarding the Contest made by Sponsor. You also agree to the terms of Sponsor's privacy policy, incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, Sponsor's privacy policy, or any other terms incorporated by reference, please do not participate in the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to update these Terms at any time and without notice to you, and will update the "Effective Date" above after an update is made.

1. Description and Rules

The Contest is a game of skill. Participants will apply their knowledge of NFL teams and matchups to compete in a season-long "survivor pool" style game with the following rules:

  • The Contest begins in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season.
  • Each entry in the Contest is classified as being in one of two states: Alive or Eliminated.
  • Each participant begins the Contest with three (3) entries, all of which are Alive.
  • Participants are responsible for making one weekly pick for each of their Alive entries, by selecting one (1) NFL team from a list of available teams presented on the Contest website.
  • Each individual week of the Contest is defined by the official NFL schedule, which divides the regular season into eighteen (18) specific weeks.
  • Each entry can pick a specific NFL team only once during the Contest. For example, if an entry picks Minnesota as its Week 1 pick, it cannot pick Minnesota again in any future week.
  • A Weekly Pick Deadline of Saturday at 7pm Eastern time / 4pm Pacific time applies to all Alive entries.
  • If a participant wishes to pick a team playing in a game that starts before the Weekly Pick Deadline (e.g. on Thursday night), they must submit their pick before the kickoff time of the game.
  • An Alive entry will have its status changed to Eliminated if:
    • The weekly pick for that entry either loses or ties its game.
    • A participant fails to submit a pick for the entry before the Weekly Pick Deadline.
  • Any entries that are not Eliminated remain Alive, and are eligible to pick again the next week.

2. Determination of Winner

The Contest will continue on a week-to-week basis until one of the following three scenarios occur:

  • Zero (0) entries are Alive after the conclusion of any week. In this case, all entries that were Alive during the week in which all remaining Alive entries became Eliminated will be declared co-winners of the Contest.
  • One (1) entry is Alive after the conclusion of any week. In this case, the final Alive entry will be declared the sole winner of the Contest.
  • Two (2) or more entries are Alive after the conclusion of NFL Week 18. In this case, all entries still Alive after NFL Week 18 will be declared co-winners of the Contest.

3. Prizes

  • The total Cash Prize for the Contest winner, which is guaranteed by Sponsor regardless of the total number of entries in the Contest, is USD $10,000.
  • In the event that there are co-winners of the Contest, the Cash Prize will be divided evenly among all co-winners based on entries and not participants. For clarity, if two of a participant's entries are co-winners of the Contest, that participant will receive a co-winner's prize share for both entries.
  • Sponsor will pay each Contest winner their share of the Cash Prize via check or electronic funds transfer within thirty (30) days after (a) the contest concludes and (b) the winner provides information including their full name, mailing address, Social Security Number/Tax ID, and any other details required for payment to Sponsor.
  • Each Contest winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or expenses associated with receiving the Cash Prize or any share of it, and Sponsor will report all prize distributions to the US Internal Revenue Service.
  • The total Charity Donation Prize for the Contest winner, which is guaranteed by Sponsor regardless of the total number of entries in the Contest, is USD $5,000.
  • The Charity Donation Prize is subject to the same division rules for Contest co-winners as the Cash Prize.
  • Within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the Contest, Sponsor will make a cash donation in honor of each Contest winner, in the amount of their Charity Donation Prize share, to a charity of their request ("Requested Charity").
  • Requested Charities must be qualified charitable organizations in the US, also known as a 501(c)(3) organization, and are subject to approval of Sponsor. If Sponsor has not approved a Contest winner's Requested Charity within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to select the winner's charity.
  • Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor may participate in the Contest but are not eligible to win prizes.
  • Contest prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be substituted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
